(Romans 1:20 from "The Message" Translation.)
My passion is nature photography, or perhaps better still, creation photography.
To me, photography is about seizing a moment in time, perhaps a unique moment in time
where God is revealing something amazing through a delicate scene, such as a flower or spiderweb,
or something grand like a mountain sunset in the midst of a stormy sky.
It has been said that passion is found in the photographer and not the subject, but I like to think that the passion of God does shine forth from what He created. Such a world as we live in could not exist without a passionate Creator behind it all.
Perhaps nature photography is a merging of two passions; the passion of God the Creator who orchestrated such a diverse ecosystem and topography, and the passion of the photographer who will spend countless hours in all kinds of weather in his journey and quest to render in a simple photograph the power and majesty of the beauty and the splendor that lies before him.
My hope is that the images that I have made which you see here portrays this merging of passions.
